The New York Times has a new poll out giving Bush a 42% approval rating--the lowest in his presidency. While it may be a relevant barometer for the nation's mood, I wouldn't spend much time considering the ramifications for the election--almost a quarter of those surveyed aren't even registered voters, never mind "likely voters."
