No Standing

Michael Newdow, the father who sued his daughter's California school over the phrase "under God" in the pledge of allegiance has no standing in the case, according to the Supreme Court. NPR is reporting the ruling, but I don't see any reports yet. I feared this would be the safe punt for the Court to take--and they have.

[Update: Here's the story. Interesting fact: O'Connor did not think the phrase violated the Constitution and would have ruled against Newdow.]
